How to Complete A Secret Mission in Uncharted Space in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The much-awaited Disney Dreamlight Valley Toy Story update has finally arrived, with plenty of new quests, Festive Duties, and characters. Buzz Lightyear needs your help to recuse Woody; there are various items you will need to gather to assist in his quest. So, we will detail everything you need to know on how to complete A Secret Mission in Uncharted Space in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to unlock the Toy Story Realm
If you are unfamiliar with unlocking the new Toy Story Realm, this is how you can do it. You will need to acquire 7,000 Dreamlight to remove the Night Thrones and unlock the realm. If you’re low on Dreamlight, you can earn more by completing your Dreamlight Duties. Additionally, you can also craft Dreamlight using Dream Shards. You will need 10x Dream Shards to make 250x Dreamlight.
How to complete A Mission in Uncharted Space in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You can now enter the Toy Story realm after you have cleared away the Night Thrones. Now that you have been shrunken into a toy version of yourself, make your way to Buzz Lightyear. You can find him near some toy car tracks on an orange table.
You may notice the music lagging and slurring as you enter this realm. This is directly related to Buzz, as he urgently needs new AA Batteries. So to help him out, this is where you can find the batteries. The first battery can be found near the closet and in front of Bonnie’s Drawing. You can find the second battery hidden behind a large green box with multicolored books on top of it.
Once you have located your batteries, give them to Buzz, who will request that you find 10x Race Car Tracks; you can find them scattered throughout the room and within the closet. After that, make your way back to Buzz so he can repair the track.
You will then need to gather 5x Magic Growing Cactuses, which come in various colors. Once you have located all of them, place them under the Race Car Tracks on the floor. The first two Growing Cactuses will be placed under the track near the entrance of the Toy Story realm.
The second two will be placed on the floor near the red slide, and finally, the last Cactus will be placed under the Race Car Tracks in front of the closet. Once you have placed all your Magic Growing Cactuses, use your Magic Watering can to make them grow; then speak to Buzz.
You have gathered items throughout the Toy Story realm to assist Buzz in a recuse mission. You must make your way to the Ladder, launch a toy car toward the window latch, and save Woody. But that’s not all; you will be given another quest to search for 4x of Bonnie’s Drawings with gold stars and take a picture with them.
All of Bonnie’s Drawing locations
- Under white open shelving.
- In front of the green box with the multi-colored books that Woody is standing on.
- In the closet.
- The pink-colored construction paper is on the wall, and stand on the orange table to take a picture of it.
Once you have taken a picture of Bonnie’s Drawings, report back to Buzz. Your mission is almost over; you must leave the Toy Story realm and place Buzz’s RV in the Dreamlight Valley. You will then need to use Scrooge McDuck’s sign to pay for the construction of Buzz’s new command center. This will cost 10,000 Star Coins. Buzz can now be brought to the Valley, and your mission is complete; well done.

How to unlock Buzz Lightyear in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Woody and Buzz have entered the world of Disney Dreamlight Valley and can be unlocked so that they can live alongside the other residents of the valley. Just like with the other characters, you need to unlock this pair of toys before they will make their way to the valley. To do this, you need to make your way to the Toy Story Realm and help out your fellow toys. This guide will show you how to unlock Buzz Lightyear in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
A Secret Mission in Uncharted Space quest guide
Woody and Buzz reside in the Toy Story Realm that was added to the game with the Missions in Uncharted Space update. Like the other realms, you can find this one inside Dream Castle. The door leading to the Toy Story Realm is next to the door to the Frozen Realm. Before you can access this realm, you will need to clear the Night Thorns blocking the door. This will cost you 7,000 Dreamlight.
Once the door is unlocked, head into the Toy Story Realm and talk to Buzz Lightyear who will be standing on a platform near the foot of the bed. Buzz needs some new batteries because his own are starting to short out. Your first task is to collect two AA Batteries from around the room. These can be found in the following areas:
- Under the window near the closet
- Under a book in front of the wood oven
Bring the batteries to Buzz and he will ask you to help him with his mission to save Woody. Woody fell out the window and you need to get the window open to save him. First, you will need to collect pieces of track. There are 10 in total that are scattered about the room and they come in two different styles: track and connector pieces. After grabbing all the pieces, return them to Buzz and he will have one final task for you; collect the Magic Growing Cactuses.
The Magic Growing Cactuses are scattered about the room as well with some people near books and others inside the closet. After getting them all, place them under the pieces of track that need elevated. These track pieces will be sparkling making them hard to miss. Once they are placed, water the cacti to make them grow. Speak to Buzz and he will want you to place the car on the track at the top of the ladder. After doing this, you will get a short cutscene showing the car going around the track before hitting the window and unlocking it. Woody is saved!
Talk to Woody and Buzz and they will ask for your assistance in fixing Bonnie’s farm. Start by taking pictures of the colored construction paper with gold stars around Bonnie’s room. They can be found in the following areas:
- Inside the hollow bench under the racetrack
- On the wall next to the wood oven
- Below the window where Woody and Buzz are standing
- On the wall in the closet
Report back to Buzz and you will get the task of building his RV in the valley. Head back to the valley and place Buzz’s RV wherever you would like for it to be. Building his RV will cost you 10,000 Star Coins.

Buzz Lightyear is one of the well-known characters in the Toy Story franchise. This Space Ranger has a brave heart and would not leave anyone behind, especially if his best friend Woody is in danger.
In this guide, we will be going through the steps on how to unlock Buzz Lightyear in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to unlock Buzz Lightyear in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
To unlock Buzz, you need to go to the Dreamlight Castle and head to the Toy Story Realm door located at the second level. Once there, you need to spend 7,000 Dreamlight in order to remove the night thorns from the realm door. You can then enter the Toy Story Realm and talk to Buzz to start the A Secret Mission in Uncharted Space quest.
Follow these steps in order to complete the quest:
- Explore the Toy Story Realm
- Search the room for AA batteries and bring them to Buzz
- Search the room for pieces of Race Car Track and bring them to Buzz so he can repair the track
- Gather the Magic Growing Cactuses scattered around the room and place them under the race car tracks on the floor
- Talk to Buzz
- Go to the ladder near the toy oven on the floor
- Talk to Woody near the window then talk to Buzz
- Search the room and take pictures of Bonnie’s Drawings on colored construction paper with gold stars on them (4)
- Report back to Buzz
- Place Buzz’s RV in Dreamlight Valley
Step 1: Explore the Toy Story Realm
Once you arrive in the Toy Story Realm, go talk to Buzz to start the quest. He will ask for your help to get fresh batteries him.
Step 2: Search the room for AA batteries and bring them to Buzz
Look for the 2 batteries somewhere in the room. One can be found underneath the stack of books near the ladder, and one can be found near the drawing by the closet. Bring them back to Buzz to get him fixed.
Step 3: Search the room for pieces of Race Car Track and bring them to Buzz so he can repair the track
Buzz will need your help repairing the track that he will use to launch the car that will unlock the window. You need to look for the track segments and connectors that are scattered on the floor. Bring them back to him once you have all 10 of them collected.
Step 4: Gather the Magic Growing Cactuses scattered around the room and place them under the race car tracks on the floor
The next step is to look for the 5 Magic Growing Cactuses in the room. These look like colored discs scattered on the floor. Once you have all of them, place them underneath the track segments. Then, use your Magic Watering Can to water them and make them grow (go around the track near the door for the Interact prompt to show up).
Step 5: Talk to Buzz
Go back to Buzz and he will give you the toy car that will go on the tracks.
Step 6: Go to the ladder near the toy oven on the floor
Head to the ladder to place the toy car on the tracks. Then watch the cutscene that plays where the toy car manages to unlock the window.
Step 7: Talk to Woody near the window then talk to Buzz
Head over to the window to talk to Woody and find out what happened earlier. Then talk to Buzz as he will need your help on completing the next step.
Step 8: Search the room and take pictures of Bonnie’s Drawings on colored construction paper with gold stars on them
You need to look for the 4 drawings that Bonnie made that are posted around the room. These drawings are marked with gold stars on their corners. There’s one by the green wall, one inside the white shelf, one near the stacks of books, and one inside the closet. Take a picture of each of them to complete the task.
Step 9: Report back to Buzz
Go back to Buzz to report on the progress. You’ll then be able to invite him back to Dreamlight Valley, but only if he gets a place to stay.
Step 10: Place Buzz’s RV in Dreamlight Valley
Go back to the Valley and look for a place where you can place Buzz’s RV. Go to the Furniture tab, then open up Buzz’s special category to find the RV. Once it has been placed on the ground, interact with the Scrooge sign and you will need to spend 10,000 Dreamlight to get the RV constructed.
After the RV is complete, you can then talk to Buzz to finish the quest. Afterwards, you can start raising his friendship level or head back to the Toy Story Realm to start Woody’s quest that will bring him over to the Valley.

How To Unlock Buzz In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Disney Dreamlight Valley’s new Toy Story update allows players to unlock both Buzz Lightyear and Woody. Here is how to unlock Buzz Lightyear.
Disney Dreamlight Valley now allows players to unlock Buzz Lightyear. Woody and Buzz Lightyear, the enduring Toy Story combo, have both made it to Disney Dreamlight Valley. The second significant Disney Dreamlight Valley update added a unique Toy Story Realm that reduced players to the size of toys and allowed them to invite both adored characters to the community. But, it’s hard to find Buzz Lightyear. Before inviting Buzz back to the Valley to embark on top-secret space missions, players must meet a number of prerequisites.
In the Toy Story Realm, Buzz Lightyear is the first character that is available for unlock, and Woody is not available until the A Secret Mission in Uncharted Space quest is complete. As a result, gamers should start working on finishing Buzz Lightyear’s mission in order to both unlock the space ranger and progress toward unlocking Woody. Players must first go to their castle and locate the Toy Story’s Realm door in order to begin that quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How To Unlock Buzz In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Players will first need to unlock the Toy Story Realm in order to access this quest. On the second floor of the Dream Castle, just to the left of the Frozen Realm, lies the gateway to this realm, which has the head of a famous green alien from the Toy Story movies. Players must first make sure they have the hefty 7,000 Dreamlight required to enter the Realm.
If not, they are unable to enter and unlock the Toy Story pair. Players will get the quest A Secret Mission in Uncharted Space right away after unlocking the Toy Story Realm. Once inside, they should discover that they have shrunk to the size of a toy. Coming up to Buzz Lightyear’s character in Disney Dreamlight Valley will start the exciting adventure.
Completing the A Secret Mission in Uncharted Space Quest
When Buzz Lightyear converses with the space ranger, his batteries begin to deplete. Then, in order to continue talking to him, players must find fresh AA batteries. Players will need to search Bonnie’s room once again for the remaining pieces of the racecourse in order to drive a toy car towards the window and hit the lock and unlock it.
After collecting all ten parts, gamers can head back to the space ranger to continue working on saving Woody and unlocking Buzz Lightyear. Buzz Lightyear will then tell the player to find Magic Growing Cactus plants in Disney Dreamlight Valley hidden across the room.
After completing this task, Buzz and Woody will ask players to make one final trip through Bonnie’s room to photograph any of her artwork that they are unable to access. Return to Buzz with the pictures and the player will invite him back to Dreamlight Valley, which Buzz will accept. The last piece of this puzzle involves purchasing a home in the Valley for Buzz to live in at which point he will immediately join the player’s house in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
