For that reason, it is often compared to islands like Ibiza.

The capital is considered to be one of the most beautiful of all islands towns. It is a Greek island cliché: cubic white houses with blue doors and windows in narrow little streets. Mykonos Town is a labyrinth in which you will enjoy getting lost.
The island is closely related to Delos (little Delos) and Rhenia (Big Delos). These islands were in the Ancient Time one of Greece’s most important spiritual centre. Rhenia and Delos are hilly and treeless.
As far as population is concerned, there are only a few local farmers and fishermen living there among the ruins of one of the greatest civilizations.
